Ingredients:
- 1 large flour tortilla (approx. 10-12 inch/ 25-30 cm diameter)
- 2 tablespoons tomato sauce (passata)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (approx. 50g)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (approx. 25g)
- 4-5 fresh basil leaves, torn
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
- Place the tortilla in the non-stick skillet.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the tortilla, leaving a small border.
- Sprinkle with oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Distribute the torn basil leaves over the cheese.
- Drizzle the olive oil around the edge of the tortilla.
- Place the skillet over medium heat.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tortilla is golden brown and crispy on the bottom. Check frequently to prevent burning. You may need to lower the heat slightly if the bottom is browning too quickly.
- Carefully slide the tortilla pizza onto a plate and serve immediately.
