Ingredients:
- 6 fl oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 8 fl oz Fresh Orange Juice
- 16 fl oz Pineapple Juice (100% pure)
- 4 fl oz Simple Syrup (1:1 ratio)
- 1 tsp Angostura Bitters
- 1 tbsp Grenadine (Optional)
- 8 fl oz Light/White Rum
- 6 fl oz Dark/Aged Rum
- 4 fl oz Spiced Rum
- Large Ice Block
- Fresh Orange wheels for garnish
- Maraschino Cherries for garnish
- Freshly grated Nutmeg for finishing
Instructions:
- Juice limes and oranges. Measure out all measured juices and simple syrup into a large mixing jug.
- Add the Angostura bitters and optional grenadine to the juice mixture. Stir well to combine all non-alcoholic components.
- Pour in the measured quantities of Light, Dark, and Spiced Rums. Stir thoroughly for about 30 seconds to ensure all spirits are integrated.
- Taste the punch base. Adjust sweetness by adding more simple syrup if needed, or increase rum content cautiously if desired.
- Cover the mixture and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour to allow the complex flavours to meld.
- Transfer the chilled punch mixture to your punch bowl or drink dispenser and add the large ice block.
- Garnish the bowl liberally with fresh orange wheels and maraschino cherries. Just before serving, grate a generous dusting of fresh nutmeg directly over the surface of the punch.
