Ingredients:
- 1 French baguette (about 12 inches)
- 2 ripe avocados
- 4 ounces smoked salmon, sliced (113 g)
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened (240 g)
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (15 g)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (5 ml)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Fresh dill sprigs (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch (1.25 cm) pieces.
- Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet.
- Toast in the oven for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Mash avocados in a mixing bowl, and season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- In another bowl, combine cream cheese, chopped dill, and a pinch of salt and pepper until smooth.
- Spread dill cream cheese on toasted baguette slices.
- Top with mashed avocado and smoked salmon.
- Garnish with fresh dill sprigs and serve with lemon wedges.
