Ingredients:

  • 1 French baguette (about 12 inches)
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 4 ounces smoked salmon, sliced (113 g)
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened (240 g)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (15 g)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (5 ml)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh dill sprigs (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch (1.25 cm) pieces.
  3. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet.
  4. Toast in the oven for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Mash avocados in a mixing bowl, and season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  6. In another bowl, combine cream cheese, chopped dill, and a pinch of salt and pepper until smooth.
  7. Spread dill cream cheese on toasted baguette slices.
  8. Top with mashed avocado and smoked salmon.
  9. Garnish with fresh dill sprigs and serve with lemon wedges.
