Ingredients:

  • 12 ounces (340g) fresh or frozen cranberries, rinsed
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) water
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) fresh orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest, finely grated
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground cloves
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. In the saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, water, orange juice, orange zest, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
  2. Place saucepan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened slightly. (Approx. 15-20 mins)
