Ingredients:
- 1 (12-inch/30cm) pre-made pizza dough
- 1 cup (240ml) pizza sauce (Marinara Sauce)
- 2 cups (225g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup (30g) black olives, sliced
- 1 cup (225g) ricotta cheese, full-fat
- 1/4 cup (60ml) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) milk or cream
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
- In a small bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, and milk/cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well until smooth. Transfer the ricotta mixture to a piping bag fitted with a small round tip (or a zip-top bag with a small corner snipped off).
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Starting in the center of the pizza, pipe concentric circles of the ricotta mixture, spiraling outwards towards the edge of the pizza.
- Using a knife or skewer, drag the ricotta from the center to the edge to create a spiderweb effect.
- Arrange sliced black olives on the pizza to resemble spiders.
- Place the pizza on a baking sheet or directly onto the preheated pizza stone. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
