Ingredients:

  • 1 (12-inch/30cm) pre-made pizza dough
  • 1 cup (240ml) pizza sauce (Marinara Sauce)
  • 2 cups (225g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup (30g) black olives, sliced
  • 1 cup (225g) ricotta cheese, full-fat
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) milk or cream
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
  2. In a small bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, and milk/cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well until smooth. Transfer the ricotta mixture to a piping bag fitted with a small round tip (or a zip-top bag with a small corner snipped off).
  3. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  4. Starting in the center of the pizza, pipe concentric circles of the ricotta mixture, spiraling outwards towards the edge of the pizza.
  5. Using a knife or skewer, drag the ricotta from the center to the edge to create a spiderweb effect.
  6. Arrange sliced black olives on the pizza to resemble spiders.
  7. Place the pizza on a baking sheet or directly onto the preheated pizza stone. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
