Ingredients:
- 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna in water, drained (about 300g)
- 1/2 cup (120g) mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup (30g) diced celery
- 1/4 cup (30g) diced red onion
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) lemon juice (freshly squeezed preferred)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Slices of cucumber or tomato (for serving)
Instructions:
- Drain canned tuna thoroughly and transfer to a mixing bowl.
- Using a fork, flake the tuna into smaller pieces.
- Add mayonnaise, diced celery, diced red onion, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice.
- Mix until fully combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- For optimal flavor, cover the salad and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Optionally garnish with fresh parsley. Serve on a bed of greens, in a sandwich, or with crackers.
