Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna in water, drained (about 300g)
  • 1/2 cup (120g) mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup (30g) diced celery
  • 1/4 cup (30g) diced red onion
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) lemon juice (freshly squeezed preferred)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Slices of cucumber or tomato (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Drain canned tuna thoroughly and transfer to a mixing bowl.
  2. Using a fork, flake the tuna into smaller pieces.
  3. Add mayonnaise, diced celery, diced red onion, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice.
  4. Mix until fully combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. For optimal flavor, cover the salad and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  6. Optionally garnish with fresh parsley. Serve on a bed of greens, in a sandwich, or with crackers.
