Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Blanco Tequila
  • 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
  • 6 oz chilled mineral water
  • 1 lime wedge for garnish

Instructions:

  1. If a salted rim is desired, rub a lime wedge around the rim of a 12 oz highball glass and dip it into coarse sea salt or Tajín.
  2. Fill the highball glass to the brim with large, clear ice cubes to prevent rapid dilution.
  3. Pour 2 ounces of Blanco tequila directly over the ice, followed by 0.5 ounces of freshly squeezed lime juice.
  4. Slowly top the glass with 6 ounces of chilled mineral water, pouring down the side to preserve carbonation. The natural turbulence will mix the drink without stirring.
  5. Garnish with a fresh lime wheel or wedge and serve immediately while highly carbonated.
