Ingredients:

  • 1 medium ripe banana, peeled (approximately 150g)
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy, e.g., almond, soy, oat) (120ml)
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter (natural or regular) (32g)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes (approximately 60g)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness) (21g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional) (0.5g)

Instructions:

  1. Peel the banana and gather all other ingredients.
  2. Place the banana, milk, peanut butter, ice cubes, honey/maple syrup (if using), and cinnamon (if using) into the blender.
  3. Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash of more milk. If too thin, add a couple more ice cubes and blend again.
  4. Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately.
