Ingredients:
- 2 oz (60 ml) Aged or Dark Rum
- 1 oz (30 ml) Fresh Lime Juice
- ½ oz (15 ml) Orange Curaçao
- ½ oz (15 ml) Orgeat Syrup
- ¼ oz (7.5 ml) Simple Syrup
- Lime wedge, pineapple wedge, maraschino cherry, mint sprig (optional)
- Crushed Ice
- ½ oz (15 ml) Dark or Black Strap Rum (Optional Float)
Instructions:
- Fill your rocks glass with crushed ice.
- Add the aged rum, lime juice, orange curaçao, orgeat syrup, and simple syrup to your cocktail shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well-chilled.
- Strain the cocktail into the chilled rocks glass over the crushed ice.
- Gently pour the dark rum float over the top of the drink (optional).
- Garnish with a lime wedge, pineapple wedge, maraschino cherry, and/or a mint sprig.
