Ingredients:

  • 2 oz (60 ml) Aged or Dark Rum
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Fresh Lime Juice
  • ½ oz (15 ml) Orange Curaçao
  • ½ oz (15 ml) Orgeat Syrup
  • ¼ oz (7.5 ml) Simple Syrup
  • Lime wedge, pineapple wedge, maraschino cherry, mint sprig (optional)
  • Crushed Ice
  • ½ oz (15 ml) Dark or Black Strap Rum (Optional Float)

Instructions:

  1. Fill your rocks glass with crushed ice.
  2. Add the aged rum, lime juice, orange curaçao, orgeat syrup, and simple syrup to your cocktail shaker.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well-chilled.
  4. Strain the cocktail into the chilled rocks glass over the crushed ice.
  5. Gently pour the dark rum float over the top of the drink (optional).
  6. Garnish with a lime wedge, pineapple wedge, maraschino cherry, and/or a mint sprig.
