Ingredients:
- 2 oz (60 ml) Aged or Dark Rum
- 0.75 oz (22 ml) Fresh Lime Juice
- 0.5 oz (15 ml) Orange Curaçao
- 0.25 oz (7 ml) Orgeat Syrup
- 0.25 oz (7 ml) Simple Syrup
- Lime wedge
- Mint sprig
- Pineapple wedge (optional)
Instructions:
- Fill a rocks glass with ice to chill it while you prepare the drink.
- Add rum, lime juice, orange curaçao, orgeat syrup, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice.
- Close the shaker tightly and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds, until well chilled.
- Empty the ice from the rocks glass. Strain the contents of the shaker into the chilled rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with a lime wedge, a mint sprig, and optionally a pineapple wedge.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your tropical escape!
