Ingredients:

  • 14 oz (400g) extra-firm tofu, cubed into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp (16g) cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) neutral oil

Instructions:

  1. Pat the tofu cubes firmly with paper towels to remove excess surface moisture.
  2. Place tofu cubes in a mixing bowl, drizzle with neutral oil, and toss until every cube is glistening.
  3. Sprinkle cornstarch over the tofu and toss again until the cubes have a light, powdery white coating and no clumps remain.
  4. Arrange the cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they aren't touching.
  5. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until mahogany-colored and sounding hollow when tapped with a fork.
