- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 2 cups (240g) all-purpose flour
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (approximately 2-3 minutes).
- Gradually add in the all-purpose flour and mix until a dough forms.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, portion out the dough and roll into balls. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Gently press down on each dough ball to flatten slightly; this helps them bake evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are just golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
