Ingredients:

  • 1.5 ounces Vodka (80 proof, chilled)
  • 1 ounce Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 ounces Simple Syrup (1:1 ratio)
  • 0.5 ounces Triple Sec or Cointreau
  • Fine granulated sugar (for rimming)
  • Lemon wedge (for preparing rim)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the glass: Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of a chilled shot glass to moisten the edge.
  2. Rim the glass: Dip the wet rim into a shallow plate of fine granulated sugar, rotating gently to coat completely.
  3. Combine ingredients: Add 1.5 ounces of vodka, 1 ounce of fresh lemon juice, 0.5 ounces of simple syrup, and 0.5 ounces of triple sec (or Cointreau) to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  4. Shake: Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until the shaker is thoroughly frosted and the mixture is well-chilled and properly diluted.
  5. Serve: Double strain the mixture into the prepared sugar-rimmed shot glass. Garnish with a small lemon wedge, if desired, and serve immediately.
