Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Milk (Dairy or Non-Dairy)
  • 1 teaspoon High-Quality Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate (100% juice, do not defrost)
  • 1/2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt (Full Fat or 2%)
  • 1 large Frozen Banana (sliced)
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon Honey or Maple Syrup
  • Optional: 1 scoop Collagen Powder or Protein Powder

Instructions:

  1. Gather all measured ingredients. Ensure the orange concentrate and banana are completely frozen. If the concentrate is rock solid, let it sit out for 2 minutes to scoop easily.
  2. Load the Blender: Pour the liquid base into the blender jug first (Milk and Vanilla Extract). Add any powders next (Collagen/Protein Powder, if using). Add the creamy bases and concentrate (Greek Yogurt and Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate). Finally, add the frozen solids (Frozen Banana slices).
  3. Blend to Creaminess: Secure the lid tightly. Start blending on a low speed to crush the frozen ingredients, then gradually increase the speed to medium-high. Use a tamper to push the ingredients toward the blade, ensuring everything is incorporated smoothly. Blend until completely smooth and thick, about 45–90 seconds. If the mixture struggles, add 1 tablespoon of milk at a time until it moves freely.
  4. Taste and Serve: Taste the smoothie. If needed, add the optional honey or maple syrup and blend for 5 more seconds. Pour immediately into chilled glasses. Garnish with a fresh orange slice or a tiny dusting of fresh orange zest.
