- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon white pepper
- 1 tablespoon salt (or to taste; kosher salt recommended)
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, measure out all the spices precisely.
- Whisk all the ingredients together until well combined. Ensure there are no clumps.
- Taste a small amount of the seasoning. Adjust the salt, cayenne pepper, or other spices to your liking. Remember, you can always add more, but you can't take it away!
- Transfer the Cajun seasoning to an airtight container. Store in a cool, dark place for up to 6 months.
