Ingredients:

  • 2 (14.5 oz) cans cut green beans, drained (822g)
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup (305g)
  • ½ cup milk (120ml)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (1.25ml)
  • ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder (0.6ml)
  • 1 (2.8 oz) can french fried onions (79g)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine drained green beans, condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well.
  3. Pour the green bean mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the french fried onions evenly over the green bean mixture, reserving about 1/4 of the onions.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining french fried onions over the casserole.
  7. Bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
