Ingredients:
- 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (200g) packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp (10ml) vanilla extract
- 3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp (5g) baking soda
- 1/2 tsp (3g) salt
- 2 cups (340g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until the mixture is pale and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips by hand.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a cookie scoop, roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the sheet without touching.
- Slide the tray into the freezer for 60 to 90 minutes to flash freeze.
- Transfer the firm dough balls into a freezer-safe bag, squeeze out excess air, seal tightly, and label with the date and bake time.
